Writing
I’m a frequent contributor to The New Republic, where I write mostly on democracy & ideas. My work has also appeared in The Atlantic, Slate, Foreign Policy, & elsewhere.
My writing includes reporting, analysis, criticism, peer-reviewed scholarship, & policy advocacy. All of it revolves around democracy & the public interest. I write for general audiences as well as academics, policymakers, & journalists – & love coauthoring work with clients & collaborators.
